Dave Middleton

Dave Middleton passed away unexpectedly in early 2009 at the age of 51. At the time, Dave was serving on the Board of Directors as the President of the Central Marin Chargers Program, an organization to which Dave was very, very devoted.

During his involvement with the Central Marin Chargers, Dave donated countless hours of his time and always poured tremendous enthusiasm and energy into the many projects he undertook. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Dave personally will remember him as a very friendly, dedicated man who possessed an incredible spirit filled with kindness and integrity.

Dave served on the Board of Directors as the Scholastic Director in 2007 and 2008 and had been elected to serve as President for 2009. To honor his memory and his remarkable service to the Central Marin Chargers, Dave continues to serve as our President in memoriam. (Barbi Penaflor serves as the Acting President.)

Dave was a native of Alameda and was residing in San Rafael at the time he passed away. He is survived by his four children, Dylan, Rebecca, Nathan, and Angela, as well as his mother, Dorothy, brother, Patrick, and sister, Sherylanne. If you knew Dave like we did, you would agree that we would be remiss if we did not also mention Floyd, his beloved canine companion of 3 years. (Floyd is currently living with Dave’s son, Nathan.)

Dave’s son Dylan, 12, has played football for the Central Marin Chargers since 2006. His daughter, Rebecca, now 13, was a cheerleader for the Central Marin Chargers in 2008.

Dave and his family will always remain in our hearts and prayers.
