Playoffs & National Tournament in Florida
After the end of the regular season (which usually ends during the first two weeks of November), there will be playoffs. Your son's teams may or may not qualify for playoffs depending on his team's performance during the regular season.
Late November - Early December (Post-Season)
- If your son's team qualifies for the playoffs, there will be practices and post-season games after the conclusion of the regular season that he will be expected to attend.
- There is a possibility that playoff games will be held on Thanksgiving weekend.
Travel to Florida - Early December (Post-Season)
- If your son’s teams wins all local playoff games (local and regional tournaments), they will advance to the National Tournament in Florida
- Teams from Marin County have advanced to the National Tournament in Florida in the recent past, so this is a very real possibility.
- If your son’s team advances to the National Tournament, your son will be expected to continue to practice and dress for the games in Florida.
- Any cost to travel to Florida, including airline tickets, and other travel expenses will be the responsibility of the parents of each individual player on the team.
- The Central Marin Charger program may hold a fund raising event in an effort to defer costs associated with traveling to Florida.
